Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sarah Jarosz joins me on the show this week. Her incredible new album “World On The Ground” came out this week, and I thought it would be a great time to talk to her about her history making records from a very young age, her process on the new record with producer John Leventhal, growing up with a bluegrass obsession, her influences, the mandolin, and her recent supergroup, I’m With Her. Sarah is an incredible writer and player, but also possesses one of those rare voices that seems to project like a laser beam (in the best possible way), while carrying emotion and depth that very few performers have.
